Korte biografie
Upon graduation from Abilene Christian University in 1943, she moved to Fort Worth where she worked for a defense contractor until 1946 when Lottie was called to her life's work of religious education. She served as a church secretary, Bible teacher, author, editor and publisher and taught at seminars and conferences throughout the country. She authored and published many religious books that have been translated into multiple languages and are still very much in demand. During the 1970s she became a leader in the national pro-family movement and served as president of the National Pro-Family Forum and editor of "The Family Educator." She served on President Reagan's Council on Family Values and on the Council for National Policy. Lottie was recipient of the Newsmaker of the Year award from the Fort Worth Press Club (1977), Alumni Citation award from Abilene Christian University (1977), Woman of the Year by Women for Constitutional Government (1978) and Christian Literature Award from Christian Educators of California (1978). She organized the National Pro-Family Rally in Houston (1977).
