I really enjoyed this book. I learned a lot of neat facts about tigers and enjoyed the pictures.

In order to have a supply of books to review since I don’t accept requests to review books, which is why I’m always entering giveaways, and how I came to receive a mobi.file [KINDLE] copy of this book; and the following is my honest opinion.

What child hasn’t ever heard of or told a knock knock joke? As a child of the 1950’s I definitely remember telling them to my friends and have them telling to my friends

Knock, Knock who’s there?
Boy.
Boy who?
Boy, I can’t believe Jill kissed Jack. Can you?

Everyone kept trying to come up with new ones, and to see who could come up with the most funniest one.

As adults we can remember the fun we all had with these knock knock jokes. And at the same time we can recognize something about them which we totally missed as a child.

Knock knock jokes have an intrinsically unique characteristic to them. They’re all based on puns; a play on words based upon what the who word in the joke happens to be. If you examine all the ones listed in this book, you’ll see how true this remark is. As kids we had no knowledge of this, we had no knowledge that while we telling them to our friends we had been increasing our verbal skills as we tried to come up with new knock knock jokes.

For allowing the kids of today to experience the fun we as adults when we were their age, and for furthering the creativity of the minds of our children, I’ve given this book 5 STARS.

Summary: Refreshing, clean one and two liner jokes for the young and young at heart. Disclaimer: I should mention that I received a free copy of this book. I don't believe my review was tainted by this fact. Review: Sure this book has some jokes you heard as a kid and forgot all about, plus others that are just corny, but it provides lots and lots of jokes for having a laugh with kids. I think most kids 4 and up will get most of them, some will probably need explaining to the youngest. This is a great collection of jokes to have on hand to pull out when you simply want to have a few laughs with others, and not worry about off-color humor. It's just a fun book. I would have given the book five stars if the author had included a few pages of jokes that are more than one-liners. Nothing but one-liners can be tiring, even when they are funny. Something a bit longer now and then would change up the pace.

Mr. Hogan had a giveaway for this book on LibraryThing and I was fortunate to have snagged one of the KINDLE copies which were being given away and the following is my honest opinion for this book.

Being a child of the 1950’s we didn’t have all of the things kids of today have. We had no DVDs, CDs, high-definition televisions, electronic game boxes, etc. Instead we all played street games; girls had their games and the boys had their games. Reading this book brought me back to those simple days, days in which kids had to be creative in finding things to amuse ourselves with. One thing we had in common was jokes and more jokes. Unfortunately, I believe the art of children telling jokes to each other has for the most part been lost.

Reading this book as an adult, I believe you’ll find it rekindling your memory of those days when you and your friends shared jokes on a regular basis and remember how happy you were telling them. If it does, then why not share this joy and happiness with your children and see if they’ll come up with some of their own jokes.

For rekindling the memory of my days as a child and for allowing today’s children to experience the telling/sharing of jokes, I giving this book 5 STARS.

My 7 year-old absolutely loved this book and has now memorized a veritable treasure trove of good clean humor to break that frigid elementary school ice at the playground. Highly recommend.
