This book blew me away! Dr. Holick gives you a simple formula to determine your own personal level of SAFE SUN EXPOSURE and healthy Vitamin D levels..
Pink skin or sunburn is NEVER acceptable or safe.But safe sun exposure is vital to prevent Vitamin D deficiency.Vitamin D is vital for good health and prevention of numerous illnesses,diseases and ailments. I was always a sun seeker or sun worshipper.In recent years I bought into the sun phobia and scares and avoided the sun.I was recently diagnosed with a serious Vitamin D deficiency and months of treatment are returning me to good health again.
This book is a MUST READ for everyone.If you value your health,read this book!I am a firm believer in preventing illness.My recent years of avoiding the sun I loved have proven detrimental.

Based on the author's years of research, referencing other medical research as well. Well organized and presented clearly. Although "scientific" may seem daunting, this book is very easy to read and so well organized that I was able to quickly find the information I wanted.
