Wilderness Survival Skills: How to Survive in the… door Bob Holtzman
A pretty good book with lots of basic information, mostly on knife skills. Excellent drawings. Very short on information regarding food and navigation. In general, this is a good introduction that teaches some basic skills and provides ideas, but it is not a thorough book on the subject (and it doesn't aim to be either). The spiral bound format is not that great - it is hard to turn the pages on my copy.
