NCLA Review: This is one of the most comprehensive studies I have ever read on Titus 2:3-5. The author covers it all in the life of a godly woman. Chapters deal with Growing in Holiness, Speaking Pleasant Words, Self-Control, Seeking and Sharing Wisdom, Loving Your Husband, Loving Your Children, Living Sensibly, Pursuing Purity, Caring for Your Home, Showing Kindness, Loving Submission and All to Give Him Glory. At the end of every chapter there are study guide questions that lead you to dig further into the Word of God in order to fully understand God’s plan for womanhood. The author writes “the Bible says that it is only when we follow His ways that we experience soul-satisfying comfort, peace, and hope.” What woman doesn’t want that? The author has taught women’s Bible studies for more than 20 years and is a popular retreat and conference speaker. She writes and teaches Bible studies for the women at Calvary Bible Church in Burbank, California, where her husband, Jack, serves as pastor/teacher. Rating: 4 —ARG… (meer)
