This is not a biography of actress Lizabeth Scott per se but a recording of the friendship between the author and Scott. The author became a fan of Scott after seeing her in Dead Reckoning with Humphrey Bogart. He then researched about her and saw many of her other films, found out where she lived, wrote her a letter, and eventually met her and was a good friend for many, many years. The reader was able to get an idea of what Scott was like and it was refreshing to see how active and alert she was even in her late 80's.
