I loved this book! It was hot, steamy, funny, moving and did I mention hot? Set mainly in Savannah so the sites are weaved into the story so you get a glimpse of the Old South charm that is Savannah. I had never heard of a professional bridesmaid either but it makes lots of sense. The characters were great and the romance was wonderful! Very sweet and funny! Can't wait to read the others in this series.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

OMG! This is a great start to a new series! Set in a coffee shop the possibilities are endless for romances. This one involves a preschool teacher and the father of one of her pupils. It might be cold outside but Oh Baby it's hot inside! A very sweet story but also very hot! Can't wait to read the next book in this new series.

Another delightful romance set in Cupid's Coffeeshop. This is the 3rd book in the series. They are quick, sweet, easy to read romances with a new couple falling in love every month. Not too steamy, not too sugary, not too frothy! Just like a nice cup of cocoa! Can't wait for the next one!

Short and sweet! This month's addition to this series was a short second chance romance that shared a little of the history of the coffee shop. Like a quick visit to reminisce with old friends!

This is the sweetest series! I love the setting of the coffee shop and all of the customers. This month's romance is about the chef at the local cafe. She's hot for the boy next door who just happens to be her best friend's little brother. Quick read but hot! Can't wait for next month's visit!

Another sweet love story from Cupid's Coffeeshop. This is finally one about one of the owners. Joe doesn't believe the shop is magic and he doesn't really believe in love but when he meets Molly, a local farmer, he has to rethink some of his beliefs. Great book to sit and read over a cup of coffee!

This is a really cute series! They are all fairly quick reads but really sweet romances with wonderful characters. Every month there is a new drink at the coffeehouse and a new romance in the works. There are some recurring characters and some new ones and it's always fun to see how the new romance will unfold. Love it!!

This was a really quick, sweet read. Mild sex scene and some travel this time. Zooey travels to San Maria for her birthday and meets Charlie. Their brief romance is very nice and fits well into this series.

Another great visit to the coffeeshop! I love this series and can't wait to read them every month. They are quick, sweet romances centered around a cute little coffeeshop in the town square of a small town in Virginia. This time the romance involves the principal of the high school and has a little hot sex involved too. Excellent addition to the series!

Another sweet visit to Ashford Falls and Cupid's Coffeeshop! This one was really short but very sweet and incorporated NaNoWriMo into the story which seems very appropriate. Interesting to read how writer's think!

Another short and sweet visit with the coffeeshop crowd! Will Patrick & Joy finally admit their feelings for each other? Will the coffeeshop make a profit and make Patrick, Joe & Zooey proud owners of the coffeeshop? You'll have to read the book to find out! Lovely series! Each book is very short but very good!

This was a great second chance romance! I loved the characters and I'm crazy about Italy so this was a wonderful read! A little suspense, a little adventure, a little family intrigue and a little romance all mixed together make a perfect story. Ms. Hunt is now one of my favorite authors!

When Lucy's Nonna passes, Lucy is left with a mysterious bequest, to travel to Italy, find a man, and give him a letter and a painting. Her best friend Jack agrees to go with her.
The book alternates between Nonna Belladonna's story and Lucy's story. I found parts of it a bit slow but it was generally okay. Jack is a sweetheart and he has a lot to put up with in Lucy's fretting over their relationship.
My biggest problem was the inconsistencies and omissions in the plot. Paolo is an American studying at Yale though he goes to New York at age sixteen after his brother dies in the war. Why does he stay in Italy after the war and not go back to complete his studies? How did Lucy and Jack find him when they were just wandering around Tuscany? Did Lucy speak English or not; the priest said she was his translator, but it didn't seem like she spoke English until she got to the US. Why didn't the Germans question a young fit man being in the village?
There were a lot of coincidences also. They just happen to find the one survivor running the cafe where they eat in Florence. And so on.
If you just want some light reading, this is fine. I just thought it had too much fluff and not enough substance.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. She knows how to write a sweet love story with characters that are wholesome and easy to connect with.

I would not hesitate to recommend this author to any lover of sweet contemporary romance. She writes books with the wedding theme and each book in the series continues down a path building off the last.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Read Copy of this book.

This is the second set of a series I started a month or so ago. I really like how each book is a new month with a new love interest but that you still have characters from previous books show up. All very sweet stories about the residents of small town Ashford Falls finding love. I'll definitely be reading the final set to see how it all ends.

Four short books about a small town coffeeshop where romance blossoms! I enjoyed this book more than Kiss a Bridesmaid which I read a few weeks ago. There are 8 more books in the series and I am sure I will be finishing them at some point. These are quick fun reads to have between heavier more serious books.

Java Frost is the first in Courtney Hunt's Cupid's Coffeeshop series. Every month features a new novella and a new happily ever after. And Java Frost is a great start to the series!

The book opens with Joe, Patrick, and Zooey, who have recently inherited the coffee shop from their recently passed grandmother as part of a unique provision. They have one year to work together to make it a success.

But even though the story opens on the three of them, and although they are sprinkled throughout the story, the story's focus is really on Amy and Ben and Ben's daughter Livvy. Amy is a fun-loving woman that is full of life. She is also one of Livvy's preschool teachers and Livvy adores her. But Ben is a different kind of guy. He loves his daughter, but his world is science. He wants to connect to Livvy, to make her laugh and giggle, but just doesn't know how.

Ben and Amy couldn't be more different people and that's what makes the story work. What also made the story work for me was Ben's obvious devotion to his little girl. I love seeing that kind of father portrayed in fiction, especially romantic fiction.

Overall: This is a quick read, but one I really liked. Sometimes the love theme doesn't work in a novella, becoming too instalove for my taste. But I didn't feel like this was the case with Java Frost. Yes, it was fast, but somehow it just fit with the different personalities. Right time, right place! And with just enough steaminess to keep it real. I definitely recommend this one for anyone who is looking for a quick bite with an HEA!

Once a Bridesmaid (Always a Bridesmaid Book 2)
Read first in this series and enjoyed all the very detailed descriptions of things taking place and background scenery.
This story is about Lauren-the woman who lives in Boston and works at Always a Bridesmaid with Erin from the first book. She's staging a bachelorette party where the bride wants all male organ decorations.
As she takes them out of the tote I am just sitting here laughing my butt off!
Kyle the stripper shows up early and he wants to look around. She assumes he's the stripper and he is not!
She gets all wrapped up in Kyle and we are able to hear his side of the story also...he learns quickly after having sex with her that she won't do a repeat. They meet often as he's the photographer for the wedding...
Love finer details of the locale-the duck story! I was there often but never there-going to eye doctors in the city for several days a week for years and never ventured to see them. Also treasure the other events that had a place in the story: Gloucester during holidays and other city things. Also appreciate the ending how it all fits into place-the locations and what is real and what is not.
Things become confusing for Lauren and she breaks it off although many try to reason with her...can't wait for the third in this series.

Forever a Bridesmaid (Always a Bridesmaid Book 1)
Book starts out with a professional bridesmaid who is on her way back to Atlanta for a wedding that she's paid to be in.
She smooths over things as they come up. Due to the snow blizzard Erin meets him at the airport bar and they get to talking.
Due to the cancellation he books them rooms in a nearby hotel that is accessible via the airport. They spend the night together-Matthew on top of the covers and her underneath in the king bed as it's the only room.
She has rules and they don't include one night stands and no relations as she's too busy making money to concentrate on a date. He's an architect who's works she has noticed in the bigger cities. He's on his way to break up his brothers wedding plans before he gets married.
Coincidence: it's the same wedding they are going to...they really get along very well together and many of the same interests. Love explicit details described-makes you feel like you are seeing it for yourself. Like differences of opinions from each angle-his and hers. Never attended a wedding quite elaborate as this one with all the events that took place, was a treat to read about them all.
Liked the setting in Chicago but not sure why some words are British as they don't really belong as both are from the US and they are traveling in the US. Loved the story and as I had found out how the story came to be. Bit of adult scenes but not overpowering.
Can't wait to read more from this author.
