Well well well, this is my 300th book review & 820th book since I started counting the number of books I read.

Living off the Land is a pretty basic book about the livestock aspects of smallholding as well as finding a smallholding. Those already with a toe in the pool and some animals will probably not get a great deal of use from this book, but that being said it does contain one of the better descriptions of duck, geese & chicken breeds.

Livestock addressed in the book are chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, sheep, pigs, goats, quail & bees.

Not a bad book but definitely geared more towards those beginning their journey to self reliance.… (meer)
