This book is a nympho's dream. This first person story, expressed through the eyes of Clay, is a psychic as well as lover of many women. Nobody is jealous. Everyone is happy with the arrangements. I would have rated 5 stars, but I sometimes had difficulty with the transitions. The scene changes felt rushed. Other than that, the story lines were fun and entertaining.

This is a very standard fantasy type story. I read nothing in this story that stood out as unique. It's just war and slave girls, and sex and immortal goddesses. Whooptie-freaking-doo.

Although, I have to say that the story is in fact well written. It just isn't the type of fiction that I usually go for. Maybe if it had been a unique story, I could have gotten into it. But, it's not. It's pretty boring, in fact. It didn't even have any real sex scenes. Our hero just bangs 'em. No details whatsoever. Quite disappointing.

There's just no redeeming value to this story at all. I mean, if you're gonna have hot slave girls, at least bang the living shit out of 'em in gory detail. Sure, some people just want the cum shot, but not me. I wanna know all about how the girls were disobedient, and you just had to teach them a lesson by banging their tight assholes. Is that too much to ask? I think not.

I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

In an interesting concept, the author has dropped a man from now into the myths and legends of the desert. Narrated as a first person, there were sections where I would have preferred more description and less step-by-step narration. Unfortunately, what I saw as an overuse of that technique, the description of place often got lost as the narration was more geared to the action and not the location. During the battle scenes however, the narration was crisp, clean and full of action. The little pieces of legend were introduced in such a way as to eventually become a more coherent view of the whole, but sadly this book did not engage me in the way I had hoped it would . Part of this disconnect was directly tied to the story, but I did miss a great deal in the author not fully defining and describing the world and the treasures encountered within.

I received an eBook copy from the author for purpose of honest review as part of the Indie Authors Rock promotion for I am, Indeed. I was not compensated for this review, and all conclusions are my own responsibility.
