Dr. Frank L. Johnson

As a poet I believe that any poetry written from the heart is good poetry, however I wouldn't necessarily say that all of it should be made into books. When I got this book of poetry I expected a higher degree of prose than what I found. In this poetry there is a rhyming pattern...but it comes and goes and a rhythm is rarely existent. Now if this were written to be free verse then I'd be all for it...but it isn't so it reads very awkwardly. There were a few poems in there that I found to be very good, but most I found simply boring and without much life in them.… (meer)
