I checked this book out because I thought it had something to do with visiting the sick. It is based on the true story of a girl born with a heart problem. She had to remain at the hospital for seven months, and during that time her little brother played in the hospital garden and hoped he would see her. The book really doesn't mention the baby's problem; it is more about Noah's imagination as he plays in the garden.

Noah's Garden is about a young boy who imagines this wonderful garden where he fights pirates, gives tigers baths, and ride camels with his grandma. Noah has so much fun is this garden but what he really wants is his new baby sister Jessica, who is the hospital, to come play with him in his garden.

Noah plays in a wonderful garden. The family are living in The Children's Hospital because Naoah's baby sister, Jessica, was born with a serious medical condition. Family life has changed to accommodate Jessica's illness but Noah has adapted and created a wonderful imaginary world while he waits for his new sister to be able to join him. Sensitively done, this book would be great for the children of families in a similar position.

A readable and engaging book about three mates going through issues at school etc. Eventually Tommo rescues a mate from near death at a party and is beaten up by local hoods. He is not really thanked for it but recovers his reputation. Not suitable for Christian schools.
