Satoshi Kamiya

This is an excellent book instructing you step-by-step how to fold complex and incredibly detailed pieces by KAMIYA Satoshi (look iu. This book is not really for beginners, and I myself find that I am quite challenged by some of them (my recent third attempt at trying to create the ancient dragon, seen on the cover of the book, once again failed), but it can be considered something to aspire to. As I already mentioned, the book has step-by-step instructions for each of the 19 origami pieces found in this book, as well as illustrations (and colour photos) of the finished piece. The book also has recommendations for the size of the paper sheets required (most are rather beyond the sizes regular origami paper comes in). Also, it starts with pages that explain the illustrations of the instruction images, and how to do different folds. The book is bilingual in Japanese and English.… (meer)
