Although I still kind of cringe at the titles of the books in this series, I’ve found that these (and “Idiot’s” guides) are genuinely helpful and thorough books for starting to learn about any particular subject. This book was no exception – I found it to be filled with lots of good advice, although mostly general, rather than specific, but also a lot of resources for me to investigate (which might give me the more specific information I’m wanting). Since it’s the first book I’ve read on the subject, it’s hard to compare it with others, but I feel I learned some useful things by reading it.
