Beauty and the Wolf is what you would pick up on a night where you were looking for heat. Kelly has written a very, very steamy short that pulls readers in to Callie’s head and her ‘twisted desires’. She’s longed for her boss for so long, yet he never seems to notice her. That all changes the night she’s almost mugged and a big dog/wolf rescues her. He wants to claim her heart as his own.

In true bedroom novella fashion, there’s not much to the plot, but Kelly does an excellent job setting the backstory in just a few short sentences. Instead of readers and the heroine being thrown into a quick one-night stand with a stranger, we learn Callie has had a thing for Caleb for a long, long time and her desire and lust mounts with every passing encounter. If you’re looking for a scorching, sexy romp that will leave you breathless in an instant, then pick up Beauty and the Wolf. It’s quick, it’s cute and being inside Callie’s head is…enjoyable.
