Ronie Kendig is known for writing rapid-fire fiction with tons of action, and this novel holds true to that. I definitely recommend reading the three novels in order, beginning with Storm Rising, Kings Falling, then conclude with Soul Raging. The characters in the first book are present in the second and third books and their story lines continue to develop throughout each book. This third book picks up right where book two left off with no let-up of action. Leif is now more determined than ever to find out what happened to him during a time he has no memory of. He knows that something isn’t right within him, and he must fight to ward off internal commands that seem to come from someone else, yet they are in his mind. He also knows he must leave his team and his girlfriend behind to find these answers.
With Leif missing and looking as if he has betrayed his team and maybe his country, Mercy is the one member who holds the team together. However, she has her own painful past that comes to the present and jeopardizes her standing with the team. Iskra fights within herself as to whether or not Leif has left her willingly or not and whether or not he is a traitor. What has happened to the man she loves? What must she do to see to the safety of her daughter and her boyfriend? Is it even possible?
The evil forces of ARC have a sinister plot for winning the war against good. They have moles in place at some of the highest levels of government and will stop at nothing to accomplish their goals. The Reaper Team has their work cut out for them and must race against time to try to thwart their enemies, but who exactly are their enemies…people they thought were friends? Who can be trusted?
Here is another action-packed novel from Ronie Kendig that will leave you worn out after reading it, but at the same time wanting more! I can’t wait to read her next series that I’m sure will be full of excitement and adventure!

Oh, what a highly anticipated conclusion to the Book of Wars series! Soul Raging has more than one moment I felt unprepared to experience (but those feelings are just what I expect when I pick up a Ronie Kendig novel now), but it still wrapped up the series perfectly. Addictive, heart-pounding, adventurous, fast-paced, thrilling… I can think of so many adjectives to describe this story that I so easily devoured. I do not want to say much more and risk spoiling the twists and turns, but I will say that I loved it and now recommend it so easily (make sure you read the series in order!).

Ronie Kendig finishes out her Book of the Wars series with Soul Raging, and wow! Just wow!

First, how Kendig still shocks me after spending time in three books with team Reaper is both remarkable and satisfying. As they hunt down ArC while dealing with the repercussions of one of their own turning on them, twist, turns, and downright loop de loops kept me turning the pages as fast as I could.

Not only is Soul Raging an epic conclusion to a fantastic series filled with action, suspense, and a just the right touch of romance, it digs deeper. It’s a story about what’s happening behind the façade and loyalty.

I’ve now spent three books with these characters (well, a little more with a few of them since they were also in The Tox Files series), and they continue to stand out. They’re brave, loyal, fierce, strong, and memorable.

In conclusion, take a deep breath, hang on tight, and enjoy the ride.
