Never Ask an Octopus is a cute, cartoon-y children's book best used for story time!

This book is super cute! I liked how goofy and silly the story was, especially considering this is for children aged 3-6. I can easily see this age group enjoying this book. To top it off, there are some great activities in the back of this book! There's facts, a "Where's Waldo"-esque finding game, a matching game, and other fun activities to keep you and your child busy!

Overall, it's a great addition to your children's picture book shelf!

The Midsummer Dance is when all the forest, no matter how big or small, can come together and dance without worry of being hunted. The smaller forest members who are used to being prey are excited for the opportunity the dance brings. Snail even finds love here.

This was a cute book. I have enjoyed reading other books more, but I thought the illustrations were very nicely done.

This book would be great to prompt a discussion about the importance of inclusion and how no matter how big or small someone is they deserve to enjoy themselves as others do. Children could also do an activity where they each choose which forest creature they would like to be at a midsummer dance and decorating that creature for a bulletin board depicting the classroom's own "midsummer dance".… (meer)
