This book includes 2 CDs, both aspects of which are equally iimpressive. As a book, it explains and explores Greek instrumental music from the 78 era, and is clear and comprehensive. There's a short essay at the end about the theory and practice of making music of this era alive for the current audience, and deserves not only close reading but actual study -- it is that good.
