Cultivator story.
To be honest it was hard to get over half of the book. after that it went quite okay and at the end it was even good entertaining. but all the beginning stuff was somehow tiring.
I also deeply detest seeing parts of the future first and then have to follow the story for over a third fo the book till that moment in time is reached. Is there really anyone that enjoys this story telling trick?
I don't need to know of a dragon on the first page if it doesn't join the scenery for endless time.

This is something of a guilty pleasure. The book is highly average and I doubt I could stand it if I didn't listen to the audio book version. Sometimes I miss a section or even an entire chapter, that is perfectly fine in this series.

A battle can take multiple chapters with the first few and the last few paragraphs mattering. The rest is exposition of the types of powers in the world and people posing since the battles take so long. A battle that in that type of world would be over within a minute has ~5 people taunting for a minute each while it happens.

By now the MC has had around 100 near death experiences. Far past any point that would be reasonable for anybody to survive. Especially since there is often no preparation or little motivation on why he is the 1/10 that can survive it.… (meer)
