Bernard F. Kolanowski

Bernard F. Kolanowski, BSME is a mechanical engineer, having received his degree from Pennsylvania State University. He has worked with the application side of machinery, including compressors, pumps, gas turbines, generators, engines, motors, and heat exchangers throughout his career. Mr. toon meer Kolanowski has held position in application engineering and management with such companies as Ingersoll Rand, Environmental Control Products, Riley Stoker, and Solar turbines. In addition, he has owned his own business developing small-scale cogeneration projects through southern California for over 20 years and currently represents Powerhouse Energy Company, a distributor of various technologies, and is a consultant with Gerson Lehman Group, a firm specializing in bringing clients and experts together for informative discussions. Mr. Kolanowski conducts online cogeneration seminars through his affiliation with the Association of Energy Engineers and acts as a consultant on many cogeneration applications. He is the author of A Guide to Microturbines, in addition to his three books on small-scale cogeneration Journal, has served in a variety of positions with the San Diego Cogeneration Association and the Los Angeles Power Producers, and has presented papers at many meetings across the country.
