Kaci Lane

After seeing her sister give birth, Raven decides that she is, in no way, ready for a baby of her own. She comes with what she calls a "buggy list." It's a list of random to-dos from learning Spanish to solving a Rubik's cube, but is there a deeper reason behind the list?

Buggy List was a fun and mostly light-hearted read. Raven sometimes very strongly reminded me of Elle Woods from Legally Blonde (and not just because they're both blonde!). I would recommend this book to those who enjoy romantic comedies and/or clean romance. Buggy List is short and sweet, perfect for reading during a lunch break or finishing on the weekend.

Author Kaci Lane always delivers on her commitment to write clean (and fun!) contemporary romances. This story was a super quick read, and I enjoyed learning about the characters. I also appreciate how Kaci always incorporates real life issues that real people struggle with (e.g. struggles with parents, self worth, pregnancy, divorce, and taking care of an elderly family member). This particular story just dragged a bit in the middle, and I found myself bored at times. I'm still very much excited to read the rest of this series, though!
