This handbook was written during the late war, not for Commandos or professional wrestlers, but for the ordinary people. The continued interest in and demand for an illustrated booklet on this subject has resulted in its reissue in its wartime form.

The author believes that a knowledge of self-defence is a sound investment on anybody's part, and he sets out to provide that knowledge. The text is clear and straight-forward, and the 68 photographic illustrations make misunderstanding impossible.

It is a book to be possessed by all who are interested in self-defence.
