Ernst A. Lehmann (1886–1937)

Originally published in 1927 (Do not confuse it with the 1937, Zeppelin: The Story of Lighter-than-air Craft) this book concentrates on Lehmann's pre-WW1 career and the stories of WW1 Zeppelins, Army and Naval. This book provides a better WW1 overview than Lehmann's later 1937 book.
The book was never reprinted (?I think?) until this welcome edition. The text block has been reset and is in consequence clear and legible. The original photographs from the original edition have been professionally scanned and are reasonably well presented.
A rare and informative account by one of the leading Zeppelin commanders.
For a WW1 historian I think this is the better of the two books, although the later (1937) book should not be dismissed out of hand.… (meer)
