At first glance you may think this may be another picture book among the many, however this book vividly stands apart.Luis's book is themed in wonderful autumn colors with large illustrations that will capture the attention of your little ones.In the same spirit of The Giving Tree
by Shel Silverstein( but no where near as sad at the end ) it teaches little ones to be thankful for small things. Things that even us as adults may be guilty of neglecting(i.e rain)

Luis C. Lewis gives examples thru conversation with little Liam (our obstinate little turkey) about things to be thankful for, then brings it down to the child's level.Providing examples of things closer to a child's heart that they may be thankful for.
