Kids talk about everything from families and pets to schoolrooms and presidents. This book proves that there is humor in the little moments and no one says it better than kiddos.

JCLHeatherM | Jan 27, 2018 | I remember watching Art Linkletter asking children all sorts of questions. I didn't always understand why the audience laughed but as a young child I enjoyed it. Reading this book, many years later, I could appreciate the answers much more. Hilarious book. Quick and fun read.½

callmejacx | 5 andere besprekingen | Mar 21, 2014 | Written by Art Linkletter, intro by Walt Disney and illustrations by Charles M. Shulz. What a team! This is a collection by Mr. Linkletter of some of the funnier moments on his TV show, House Party.
Of course it was funny, the things kids say, and I enjoyed many of his observations about listening to children. I love his insights into the way children think. This book is better than a lot of the child psychology stuff I read when my children were small and it makes me laugh. But the presuppositions back then, wow! The little girls were either asked, or said, they wanted to be mommies, housewives, nurses, stewardesses or personal secretaries. And Mr. Linkletter, did you really ask a little girl if she were a secretary would she be willing to sit on her bosses lap?!?! Yes, sir, you did! For the most part though, kids are kids, and they are fun to listen to.

Crossman | Jan 16, 2012 | This book was adorable! A rare find - I picked it up at a secondhand clothes store. I loved the illustrations by Schultz, and the things that Linkletter got the children to talk about were priceless. Sure it is a little dated, but children's innocence and candor are timeless.
