Albert and the Journey Home by Richard Littledale is a good start of the story of the prodigal son, however it doesn't have some key points of the parable so I recommend that parents read the true story as well.

I voluntarily received and reviewed a complimentary e/copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Albert and the Picnic by Richard Littledale is a good opening to the story of the 5000 that Jesus fed, younger readers will love reading this and following it up with the real Bible story.

nondenominational Christian, New Testament*****

Albert the mouse falls asleep dreaming about a long ago day when Ben, a local boy, had an interesting afternoon. Ben's mother gave him a lunch and told him that he had the day free. While out he saw a crowd gathered around a man who was telling stories. When the man noted that the crowd might be hungry, Ben offered his lunch. And the rest, as it is said, is history.
The illustrations by Heather Heyworth are bright, fairly simple, and brilliantly done!
A good read for all.
I requested and received a free temporary ebook copy from Lion Hudson Ltd/Lion Children's Books via NetGalley. Thank you!

This is a beautifully illustrated story about the Littlest Star's role in the Christmas Story. It is a very simple story showing the importance of the Star in the Christmas Story. It also shows that you do not have to be big and flashy to be special and important to others. The bright colours, especially the stars really draw the eye. This is a great addition to a family Christmas Library.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
