Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen

A fun book -- as an expat in a country where televised airings of "Changing Rooms" are unpredictable (and the truly bilious U.S. spinoff is sometimes substituted), this well-produced volume provides a nice "fix" for those who appreciate Llewelyn-Bowen's visual common-sense and humor. Leafing through the book always gives me a design idea or two, there's one section that's good for a giggle (photo arrangements of one of L-B's ancestors), and ONE suggestion that should make any 'personal librarian' gasp in horror -- DON'T arrange books by height and color 'for pleasing effect', unless you want to go blooming barmy.
