Every experienced martial artist knows that understanding the laws of physics is the key to creating impact power. If you are intersested in generating maximum impact power with minimum effort, Neng Da will show you the way.

In his 12th book, renowned author Master Hei Long shares his research into the most perfect methods for executing many variations of punches, back hands, knife hands and palm strikes. Each technique is illustrated with anatomically detailed drawings to highlight the effects of the laws of gravity, centripetal force, centrifugal force, inertia, and ocmpoound force on the body for each segment of the movement.

The drawings and relevant laws of physics are explained in plain English, allowing you to gain expert insight into each movement without years of research and experimentation. Neng Da is an excellent resource for martial artists of all styles who want to get the most out of every punch.

About the author: Master Hei Long is the author of 12 martial arts books inclukding the classics Dragon's Touch and Guge Gongji. He is a lifelong martial artist who has done extensive research into the physics and anatomy of the martial arts.

When Dragons Touch was first published in 1981, violence was less common and crimes less sophisticated than what is commonly encountered on the streets of America today. carjacking was almost nonexistent, assaults at ATMs were rare, and gang warfare wasn't as pervasive and inescapable as it has been in the nineties. As citizens begin to recognize that crime is too rampant for law enforcement to handle effectively, they are taking responsibility for their own defense and survival as never before, whether by arming themselves or training in the martial arts.

Master Hei Long maintains that since a weapon or defense device of any kind is vulnerable to mechanical failure, surprise attack, and human error, the most dependable defense is reliance on one's own abilbity to take out an opponent in hard-core hand-to-hand combat. In this book, he focuses on 20 pressure points you can use as targets of counterstrikes. Effective strikes to these anatomical targets will result in crippling phyisological damage or, in some cases, death.

More than just an introduction to pressure points, this manual offers a careful study of hand weapons postures and provides more hat 50 practical applications for the featured anatomical tragets. Because all of the techniques herein are extremely dangerous and many can be lethal, the material is presented for academic study only.

Striking deadly blows,' the literal translation of Da Zhimingde, typifies the mechnaics of this system of self-defense, which is built around seven critical anatomical targets.

The results of properly executed attacks to these vital sensory and life-support organs are brutal and devasting, more often than not, they are final.

Here, Master Hei Long pin-points the locations of these targets, describes their functions and vulnerabilities, and outlines the most effective anatomical weapons and angles of force to be used on each. He then presents a careful lesson in the practical application of the techniques described.

It is by design, not coincidence, that the targets of Da Zhimingde can be deadly. These are the areas you aim for when someone is seriously threatening your life.

Knowing them well may allow you to spare a life if you have reason...and take one if you must. For information purposes only.

In this groundbreaking study, Master Hei Long unveils the secrets of Gouzao Gonji, a no-nonsense system of self-defense consisting of seven highly effective anatomical targets. Attacks to these areas, when appied strategically, will effectively cripple an assailant's nervous system.

In this book the Master pinpoints these primary targets and reveals how a properly delivered blow can bring about the desired effect, be it disrupted balance, acute pain, unconsciousness (or a semiconscious, gasping state), or a temporarily paralyzed limb. Then he provides a detailed account of which anatomical weapons and angles of force are most effective for achieving the precise results you are after, as well as an in-depth lesson in the practical application of the movements described.

The targets presented herein are not lethal or even critical-but not every confrontation calls for such severe action or warrants such devastating consequences. Instead, these seven targets offer a comfortable middle-ground option, arming you with the tools needed to inflict neurological damage serious enough to stop an assailant of comparable size, strength, and weight in his tracks. To step a speeding car, you don't have to kill the driver. You can blow out the tires. Likewise, to stop a plane from taking off, you don't have to blow up the cockpit. Just damage a wing. That is the principle of guge gongji: stopping an attacker by breaking his instrumentof danger-his ability to move.

Guge gonji is an alternative to killing, a second-to-last resort that should be used only when conventional defensive tactics are not likely to be effective. Like when you face a larger, stronger brute who is intent on doing serious bodily harm to you.

With step-by-step instructions and precise illsustrations, Master Hei Long, author of sveral best-selling self-defense manuals, shows you seven primary targets to eliminate an attackers's physical ability to pursue and engage you. Structurallly disabling an opponent is like removing the bullets from a gun. It is unlikely that an opponent will throw a punch with a broken wrist or elbow, and his ability to advance is substantially inhibited by a busted knee or ankle.

Learn how to take anyone out of a fight by mastering a few simple self-defense techniques.

There are times when a man is forced to kill. Skuch a physical confrontation is the most frearsome form of unarmed combat he will ever face. To survive, he must knokw how to properly execute lethal martial arts techniuqes that will get the job done.

Master's Death Touch gets down to the devastating fundamentaals of the deadlier side of self-defense. Master Hei Long describes the primary targets of an opponent's body and points out how to recognize various physical characterstics that would limit the lethal effectiveness of certain techniques. He then outlines the merciless use of hands, feet, elbows, and knees to overcome any assailant who's bent on doing mortal harm.

Whether fighting on the battlefield, in an elevator, or on the streets, Master's Death Touch takes self-defense to its most brutal level. It is a realistic lesson in the art of Death.

'Power striking,' the literal translation of da qiang ji, describes the advanced mechnics of the kicks and hand strikes outlined in this manual. Here Master Hei Long reveals how to maximize the results of basic striking efforts, including advancing and aerial kicks, spinning kicks, straight-line punches, shutos, palm strikes, and backhands, by generating increased impact power.

Central to this study are the physical principles behind the heightened impact force of these strikes. Before delving into the practical applications, you will understand fully not, only how they work but why.

You will discover how, once you understand and have developed the primary body movements applied in basic strikes and kicks, you can add one or more secondary power sources or body motions, called compound-power movements, to multiply the output of impact force. You will also learn how you can transmit, strength into the rate of motion of an anatomical weapon, thereby harnessing the virually unlimited force of centrifugally generated power to maximize the impact of various kicks and strikes. All of the high-impact kicks and hand strikes studied herein rely on either the compound-power or centrifugal force principles; several of them combine the two.

Once you have mastered compound-power and centrifugal-force movements, you will have harnessed a fierce and devastating power to enhance your arsenal of martial arts techniques.

Aiieee!

As the scream rends the air, the punch and scissors kick shatter three separate targets at once, reducing the boards to mere splinters with one fluid motion.

Breaking is the most coveted of martial arts skills, and the most intimidating in its show of force. Seemingly difficult, it is a skill you can master, attaining the strength, precision, knowledge, and confidence it takes to perform these feats. Develop the iron hand of the dragon's touch, following the steps prescribed in this latest book by the author of Dragons Touch: Weaknesses of the Human Anatomy.

The most deadly weapons of the hand-the punch, shuto, backhand, and palm strikes-as well as those of the feet-the front kick, hook kick, and side kick-are explained by Master Long. Correct angles and concentration points for your blows are also illustrated, showing you how to hit to cause maximum damage to the target with minimum damage to yourself.

Break through the mystique surrounding the power of breaking skills and put that same awesome force into your hands and feet.

As a martial arts instructir I found this book very informative. Whilst the teachings I have undergone lead me to dispute some of the points in the book, it is well researched, and well referenced, and from a martial arts point of view, thought provoking.
