Hugh B. Long

Ever since I read Brisingamen by Diana Paxson, I have been in love with the idea of modern stories that revolve around the Norse mythologies. The Yggdrasil Codex is just the sort of story that I am always looking for. Much like Dan Brown who takes religion and warps it into a contemporary thriller, Hugh B. Long has taken a small piece of the Norse cosmology and fashioned it into a wonderful short story. My only complaint is that the story isn't a multi-volume novel. I sincerely hope that Mr. Long will one day expand on this story, since I am left longing for much more.… (meer)
