Rafe Mair has been a dominant voice in the arena of Canadian broadcasting and print journalism for a quarter of a century, having won the 2003 Bruce Hutchison Lifetime Achievement Award in BC journalism, in addition to being inducted into the Canadian Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in toon meer November of 2005. His previous book include Canada: Is Anyone Listening?; Rants, Raves and Recollections; Rafe: A Memoir; Hard Talk and over the Mountains: More Thoughts on Things that Matter. Mair currently writes a column for The Tyee. He lives in Lions Bay, BC with his wife Wendy and his chocolate lab Chauncey. toon minder

rant rant rant rant rant. it's worth reading if you're familiar with rafe. he's one of my favorite curmudgeons out there. his work, like all good opinionated writers, will become more famous when he croaks next year.
