Fascinating -- prophesies of Merlin particularly interesting. First couple of pages (Translator's Preface) gives a history of the book and its author; some incredible stories for forklore collectors. (Well worth the $28.00 I paid for the set.). Amazing source material from a person who observed some of what he wrote about and collected other material from multiple sources. It contains unique information,. Valuable original source material. Vol 1 -- BC 4004 to AD 1066; Vol 2 -- 1066 to 1307.
