Captives and Prisoners is a fun read. Good story and characters. This follows the adventures of Jen Rice who works for a security company going out on call to help manage out of control events by werewolves, vampires and paranormal events. She is a very strong character with a high moral level when it comes to protecting life including everyone involved, human or not. What she comes to learn is there is something very bad going on and doesn’t know how it is all connected. The character development is well done including the supporting cast of characters in Jen’s life. A fun story that continues to move along keeping interest all throughout the book. The only suggestion is to change the last chapter to be labeled as epilogue. It is the standard teaser for the next book but it was an abrupt stop when I didn’t realize I was about to reach the end of the ebook.… (meer)
