The Purim story is wonderful. I loved learning about the Jewish Holiday of Purim and the significance of it. When you read this educational rhyming story you'll find out what evil scheme,Haman, minister to the King of ancient Persia had planned. The beautiful Esther was chosen to be the king's bride, but she was forced to hide a secret. She became the hero when her Uncle Mordechai told her about the minister's horrid plan. She set out to thwart the scheme before it was implemented. Esther became a hero for her clever efforts. You and your children will delight in this story. Like all of the other books in Silly Auntie Lily's series, Silly Letters: It's Better Together" is great fun and a wonderful bedtime story for preschool and early grade readers. Not only will the children love the story and want to read it over and over again, but they will learn so much by reading or listening to the rhyming verses. The story has beautiful illustrations depicting each letter wanting to be the star. But each one is moved out of place by the following letter. Little ones will learn a great deal. Not only that, but they will love expanding their knowledge of the alphabet. As with the other books in Silly Auntie Lily's series, there are rhyming questions at the end of the story to help youngsters remember parts of the story. They will easily recall the adorable illustrations; whether it's " Hippy the Hippo Hoola Hooping all day", "Normie the Numbat nailing napkins all day" or any of the other characters, children, parents, and family members will delight in this remarkable tale.
