The Savage and Beautiful Country door Alan McGlashan
A remarkably complex and inspiring examination of the human mind with all it's paradoxes and eccentricities. I was completely swept along by this book, never wanting to put it down, so I feel like I only barely grasped the fundamentals of the points that McGlashan was trying to make.

This book cries out for a revisit, and I will certainly be reading it again.
