I got though about a third of this before I decided I had better ways to spend my time. The stories here explore some of the most gruesome, disgusting ideas an author could conceive of. McGrail has an incredibly dark imagination. What I read is also well-written, without the typos or sub-elementary school level of grammar that one often finds in Kindle books. In the end, however, I just didn't feel like spending more time in this world. One example: A repo man is called to retrieve a large storage container that has gone unpaid for. It is too heavy to move, so he and his team need to empty it out. But it only has a hatch on the top that is difficult to open. When they do open it, the stench is overpowering. He lets go, and it slams back shut. But it is a $2000 job and he and his team need the money. Wrapping their t-shirts around their mouths and noses, they make another attempt to open the hatch. They succeed, but the narrator falls in! It turns out it is a whole container full of discarded human embryos used in scientific research. After a horrible time sinking into this mass, he is pulled out by a rope. He showers three times at home, but still feels something in his hair. He wipes it, and a tiny human hand falls to the floor.

So, as you can see, the author has quite an imagination, and I've certainly never read anything quite like that before. But, as I said before, I have better ways to spend my time.
