Seventy or so photographs with accompanying texts. The selection is by Steele-Perkins, the texts are by Steele-Perkins and/or Messer (there's no indication of who did which). The photographs are mostly from 1971 and later, and mostly by British photographers, some justly famous (Ray-Jones), many unjustly obscure, some understandably obscure. As Steele-Perkins says, they are all very much worth a look. The texts vary greatly in length and style but all are intelligent. Also exists as a hardback, ISBN 0728702096.
