This book is packed with information, the author has done a lot of research, but it has so many spelling and grammar errors as to be off-putting to many readers! This should serve as a WARNING to anyone who chooses to SELF-PUBLISH- PAY THE EXTRA MONEY FOR A PROOFREADER!! Preferably, hire someone who has experience working for a newspaper. The historic and botanical information about henna is great, but the writing mistakes are so egregious that they are distracting. Hard to demonstrate your scholarliness when you spell it "Harverd University", etc. At times it seemed like the author had used one of those dictati0n computer programs that converts spoken language into the written word; "bases" for "basis", "finger" for "figure", "laves" for "leaves" and so on. If you are extremely motivated to learn all you can about henna and you are able to put your inner Grammar and Spelling Nazi to sleep, you will be able to learn a lot from this book.… (meer)
