A good example of how to do a haute-compilation cookbook, with some genuinely inspirational and complex dishes which show there is far more to you oeuf than just fried, scrambled or boiled. Notable for the first full example of Heston Blumenthals Egg & Bacon Ice Cream recipe which I can recall seeing in print.

An unusual glimpse into contemporary haute vegetable cookery - a surprisingly neglected subject. Charlie Trotters Vegetables is the only other comparable that springs to mind (although obviously Trotter's is a more coherent work).
