I was a little disappointed, but in the same way I always am with this series. I just want a little more detail, a little more explanation. I want to see more stuff happen.

Still, it's a good conclusion to the little series. Fern didn't make much sense in this volume, though. Well, I guess he did. I don't know. I just got a little tired of him, I guess is more accurate.

It was cool seeing Mel grow up. See, THAT'S what I'd have liked to see more of...½

Nothing special. There was a lot of everyone being sad and upset and Mel wandering around trying to find purpose in life, repeatedly finding it and then for some reason still searching.½

I actually really enjoyed this volume because it had way more plot than the previous installments. I do wish more time had actually been spent on the villain... It all felt rather rushed. I can only suppose that's because the usual focus of the manga is on Mel just going around being cheerful and trying to learn how to be Sylth.

But now things are actually happening! I'm pretty excited for the next volume...

Really enjoyed it. I liked seeing a different side of Vaith, and learning more about Fern as well. I'm liking Mel more and more, and even though she's the stereotypical shoujo heroine, she manages to be unique.

Still really enjoying the series. Merleawe is pretty cute, even if she's stereotypical, and I'm enjoying learning more about Sylth himself. Cute art, interesting story. Nothing special, but very enjoyable.

An interesting little manga that I'm looking forward to continuing. Merleawe, while stereotypical, is interesting enough, as are the other characters. They all have a bit of depth and mystery to them that makes it entertaining. The major downfall is that the art is a little chaotic, and it's hard to understand what I'm looking at for the first few pages.

I'm also very curious as to where the real Master Wizard has gone.
