In this steamy quick read we are introduced to Abby who goes out with a friend to celebrate her new job. What Abby doesn’t know is this is a different kind of party, one where the wealthy flaunt their money and hide behind masks and lingerie. Abby being a quiet librarian she isn’t too sure about this but decides to let go for one night what she doesn’t know is her life will forever be changed. Brandon sees Abby from across the room and instantly his wolf side knows that she is theirs and he will do anything for her so, a night of hot passion together should cement the deal until he wakes up alone. The intensity between these two is scorching but they both have insecurities and secrets that stand in their way, will they be able to trust each other and let them in or will it all crumble before it really starts? This was a quick read but it was packed with a lot and I throughly enjoyed it that I will read more.… (meer)

Ava goes to a masquerade party with her friend. While there, she sees Bryce from across the room and is captivated. Bryce sees her and is instantly captivated. They spend the night together. Ava leaves before he wakes. The next day she begins her new job. She has a plan to create a library of rare books in the building this company just bought. So instead of going to the floor where she is to work, she takes her plans to the penthouse where she sees Bryce who is the CEO of the company she now works for. What will happen between them? Will her ideas help or harm her?

I enjoyed this story. I liked Ava and Bryce. Their story moved a bit quickly--no slow build-up here. I like that Ava was low-keyed and did not let people know who she was or that she came from money. She also keeps her word. Bryce, I thought, jumped to conclusions too quickly. I appreciated when her dad calls at the end to mend a few fences. I liked that Bryce was ready to grovel to atone for his mistakes. I was happy with the ending.
