Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten.I enjoyed this book very much. I do not have a chronic illness but this book gives a person hope and inspiration just by reading it. She puts forth a "never give up" attitude. I would recommend this book to anyone with a chronic illness but also anyone who just wants a book that strengthens your belief that God can get you through all things.

I'm not sure I discovered anything "revolutionary" but it is nice to have the verses all collected in one place (versus seeking them out on your own) and it is also nice to have the feeling that I'm not alone in some of the feelings and struggles and to know that that's okay. Some days you may have more to give and other days not.
The author used The Message translation--this does have the advantage of making the verses more readable for today. I know some Christians don't like this translation for whatever reason.
