The book's point of view is from the child with autism who describes his neurotypical friend Johnny. Johnny has a problem with punctuality, doesn't follow routines, looks directly into your eyes, and likes to socialize, none of which is appealing to the boy with autism. But "that's OK" because everyone's brain is different and that's just how Johnny is. Written for families to share with autistic children but also useful for neurotypical children to understand how the minds of their autistic friends work.
