I can see some of the value of the man’s words, but upon reading and reflecting upon this collection of his poems, I have decided that I wasn’t a good audience for his poetry. He amused me, made me think, but I never feel that I really connected with his poems. Maybe, on another day my mind’s eye would see something more.½
