Another novel based on the millennia-old secret society, supposedly founded by the Emperor Ashoka, and the secret it has been guarding all along, this one too follows the familiar formula of a few killings, a few riddles and some action packed adventure.
It's a quick, light read if the reader doesn't apply his / her brain much. Otherwise, there are several holes in this story; many of the actions of the characters are illogical and many sequences are implausible. And, the same old problem of poor editing (or none at all) plagues this novel too; I could count, without meaning to, at least sixty errors with respect to diction and grammar! Do people not read what they have written?
Considering that the author is a twenty one year old, and going by the vivid descriptions and the dramatic turns at some places in this novel, I feel that he has it in him to come up with better works in the future. Let us see...… (meer)
