Um, so… this was kinda weird? Not nearly as dark as I’d expected, though. I liked it less than Bailey’s Worthless Boys series (but it had a very similar vibe), probably because I didn’t really care about these two new MCs, but also the writing seemed sloppier here? Hm, I don’t know.

I wouldn’t call this book enjoyable, per se, but it was interesting. Mainly, it was very depressing, though. I hated that Ben put up with so much of Damon’s shit for so long! Their HFN was believable, if a bit rushed.
Not sure I’m ready for another dose of these fucked-up teenagers and their toxic relationships right now… but Teddy was such a sweetheart here, and I just want him to get his man already.
