When her friend's husband, Ryan (a police officer) commits an unspeakable act, Daniels sees it as her mission to get him to open up about his secret with the help of her sensual charms.

This novel shows that there are both good and bad sides to every one of us. Its steady pace and style of writing conveyed a sense of hidden urgency and had me hooked from the first chapter. We get to know both Daniela and Ryan, and their secrets more intimately as the story progresses.

For me, the ending lacked a certain something. Perhaps I was hoping for a bit more drama or a surprise twist, but I felt like more could have taken place to give the story that final sparkle.

Overall, I found this to be a gripping piece of fiction that I would recommend to lovers of crime and thriller novels.… (meer)
