The table of contents were clear with the content in the story. Each chapter was a question like What makes weather? What are Clouds made of? The chapters are easy to read and include colorful pages and pictures of children participating in weather. At the end of each chapter (which is only 2 or so pages) there is a one question quiz. I loved how the book integrated diagrams, photographs, and cartoon along with children's pictures. The glossary was very clear and included about 30 terms. The index took up one whole page as well. I enjoyed the fact that this non-fiction book could be read aloud to the class.

Rather complex novel about racism or reverse racism amongst Indian families in Britain. (Think Bend it Like Beckham) Amita has moved to a different town because her father's business was destroyed by white football hooligans.Unfortunately, her father is still traumatized and won't let Amita be friends with Cathy because she is white. Things get worse when the local bullies pick on Amita and her Dad thinks it is because of Cath's brother (who is walking them home) that she is hurt. Amita decides enough is enough.
