I'm always here for more dystopian science fiction! And I'm honestly so impressed by the amount of research and effort that clearly went into this book, and the author's choice of quotes, poems and inspirations are brilliant. Well worth a read!

Dare to know. A crime so rare that it denoted a fabled punishment that few even understood.

I got to the end and now I want more. :O

Once upon a time, someone said [...] the king and queen of the Old World had created something magnificent ...

The intricate detail and world-building in this book is brilliantly done and reminds me why I need to read more epic fantasy! Onwards to book 2!

Mankind is in grave danger of becoming a dystopia. Sebastian has created (after many complex trials) a cryogenic being to be stored until this terrible war is over and the world is ready, yet again for the reemergence of Mankind.

This book is a bit scientific, a mystery that makes several coils, to keep you guessing right up until the end. This is a good read, the plot didn't hold my attention all the way through. I need to read it again, to get a better grasp on it.
