Inger Palmstierna is an established garden writer, journalist, translator, lecturer, and photographer. She has worked in gardens since she was twelve years old and has a degree in horticulture science from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. She has run her own business, Aliske toon meer Cultivation, since 1988. Palmstierna enjoys engaging in her own gardening experiments and travels to experimental fields and nurseries all over Europe. Greenhouse vegetable gardening : expert advice on… door Inger Palmstierna
The author is from Sweden, so her credentials as a cold-climate gardener are impeccable and the information from this book should be applicable to Canada. It covers all the topics it should. The photos are profuse and the captions helpful. Unfortunately, the publisher chose to print the actual text in a font that is both ridiculously small and laterally compressed to the point of illegibility. I'm going to have to find a really good magnifying glass to decode it.
