This book is important but in some ways difficult to read. The main focus is on economics rather than the specific details of the technologies that will influence the future of work. The data-driven arguments are compelling, but the writing style may be less accessible to readers used to blogs and opinion pieces. I wish high school and college students were required to read this book, especially the chapters about the future of craft, care, environment, and tasking jobs. With this level of writing, that's unlikely, but perhaps some of the concepts could be more widely taught to the students who will be affected by the changes described herein.… (meer)
