Dew Pellucid

I’d actually won a KINDLE copy of this book a good while ago from the author through an Amazon giveaway she had and the following is my honest opinion.

While my inner-child loved having read this fantasy, one of the components of the storyline was too real, given the headlines we constantly read in our newspaper; that of all the children which are disappearing, and no one is even seeing them being kidnapped.

In her book, the world the author, Dew Pellucid, has created is actually split into two. Of course, we’ve got our own world of flesh and blood individuals; but there’s a mysterious hidden world which we can’t see; and in this world our doppelganger is born the moment we are. We’re called Sounds and our doppelgangers are called Echoes, which is quite appropriate considering the circumstances. If we die, our doppelganger is then executed in “Echoland.”
Unfortunately, there are some nefarious individuals there who are bent on reversing this for their own despicable reasons and gains.

Will, the story’s protagonist is determined with the assistance of the most important boy in Echoland and others, to solve an ancient riddle which lies hidden somewhere in a fortress with scores of castaway children live.

But their path to solving the ancient riddle is fraught with the prying eyes of men and monsters who are determined to stop these courageous individuals.
For the moment this age-old hatred has ceased to exist, the world of the Echoes will henceforth forever be altered
